CSA Information

If you are here the assumption is that you are interested in eating delicious, local, fresh food. It is also the assumption that you are interested in supporting the farm. Thank you! If you are still undecided on whether a CSA works for you, or you are not sure of what exactly it is, please check out the two articles linked to the right. If after that you are still unsure but are willing to give it a try, be comforted knowing that you will be among the founding members of this farm!! It is through the CSA that we will be propelling this farm forward, and therefore it is through your support that this farm will come to exist in its true form.

CSA Structure:

Each week your share will be delivered in a tote or reusable bag that you will be able to take home with you. The next week you will return the carrying device and pick up your share in a new tote or bag. The drop off spot will be determined at the end of April as we close the sign-up period and have an idea of where all of our customers are located. We know there will be a drop-off somewhere in Roswell, but do not know yet if there will be another. There will of course be the option of picking up your produce on farm, always. Our CSA will also be set up as a collaborative relationship. We will have quick, optional, sheets for you to fill out each week about what you did or did not like, if it was too little or too much produce, and any general thoughts you might have. We will also seek your input at the end of your respective share season as to your thoughts, feelings, wishes and feedback. None of that will be required, but all will be helpful and appreciated.

In addition to a CSA share we will be offering the opportunity to participate in a collaborative composting venture. If you would like to participate each week you will get a bin to take home with you to collect your household compost in. The next week you will be able to return the full bin when you pick up your CSA. You will get a new clean bin and we will take your compost to the farm and compost it for you. This venture will help keep compostable food out of the trash while helping us build our compost and return the nutrients that were grown on the farm back to the plants who need them next.

CSA Options:

3-Week Share ~ If you are unsure if a CSA works for you and want to test it out this year, give it a try for 3 weeks. There may be the possibility of picking up other 3-week periods, but it will depend on how many larger share members we have. You may end up with only the 3 weeks you initially sign up for. You will designate the 3 week period ahead of time in coordination with the farmer. $100.00

8-Week Share ~ This will give you two months of fresh produce, there will be a June/July option and September/October option. $250.00

16-Week Share ~ The Full share! You will receive fresh vegetables every week of the CSA. This will not include the month of August. Due to heat and other obligations this month will be reserved for rest and preparation for the fall season. $500.00 ~ There will be a split payment option for the 16 week share. Due in April will be $250.00 with the other half due in August. By choosing this option at checkout you still reserve your share for the full 16-weeks but it gives you some flexibility in payment.

Reusable Compost Bins ~ This will provide two bins for your composting convenience to be alternated each week. $30.00

To sign up visit our farm store Here. - At this time we are sold out of our shares. Please check back in around July to see if we have opened up any more shares for our fall season. Thank you for your interest!

If you have any questions please send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Thank you so much for joining us in this journey!!
